16 Flowers was written by Kurt McDonald and John Reneaud for performance by the Electric Shamans w/ McDonald on guitar, Dominic Martinez on bass guitar, Andrew Orozco playing drums with John Reneaud, vocals and guest backup vocals by Jesse Goddard. McDonald came up with the overall vibe, Reneaud added in the melody and lyrics. The tune is a bit esoteric yet it holds its own as a punchy rock song.
